Eline Mugaas is an artist based in Oslo and cofounder and maker of the zine series with a cult-following called ALBUM#. Join Mugaas in an intimate conversation with curator Tina Kukielski on the subject of ALBUM#'s recurring themes of desire, melancholy, motherhood, nudity, and lonely men. This event coincides with the PGH Photo Fair taking place at Carnegie Museum of Art May 17–18, 2014. Reception with coffee and cookies to follow.
The Sandbox: Social Studies is second in a series of events centered on six different photobook themes. Registration is recommended as space is limited.
This event is part of the Hillman Photography Initiative, an incubator for innovative thinking about the photographic image. To join the conversation visit nowseethis.org.
