Design Competition: New Cottages at Fallingwater

June 12, 2010 – August 22, 2010

See how six distinguished architectural practices from across the United States and Canada respond to an extraordinary challenge: to design architecturally innovative and environmentally sustainable cottages for Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater (1935–1939).

This exhibition features models and drawings from Marlon Blackwell Architect, Wendell Burnette Architects, MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects, Olson Kundig Architects, Patkau Architects, and Saucier + Perrotte Architectes. Informed by the unique history, design, and setting of Fallingwater, these architects offer creative approaches to an American icon.
