Aluminum
has battled many competing materials in the area of sports equipment.
Although it lost out on the tennis court to newer materials, its
technological advantages give it definite advantage on the amateur
baseball field. The distinct and variable crack of wood has been replaced
with the uniform ping of aluminum at Little League and college games
everywhere. |
