The
Tandem Sling Seating, specifically intended for airports, was designed by
the Eames in 1962 and is still in production today. Easy to assemble,
clean, move, service, and disassemble, it is one of the best examples of
the use of aluminum in public seating. The Eames design succeeds in all
these areas, and its understated elegance does not add to the visual
clutter of the airport waiting area. |
