Monet, Van Gogh, Cassatt, Hopper … they're only the beginning! Enjoy discovering the paintings, sculpture, and decorative arts objects in the museum’s collection created by some of the world’s most fascinating artists. When the museum began in 1895, Andrew Carnegie envisioned a collection built on the works of the “Old Masters of tomorrow.” Today you can enjoy a collection that spans centuries of art, including French Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings and sculptures, European and American decorative arts, Asian and African art, contemporary art, and architecture. Renoir, Degas, Picasso, Pollock, and Warhol are just a few of the famous artists on display.
