Dinosaurs in Their Time
Tours are booking now for Carnegie Museum of Natural History's spectacular new dinosaur exhibit, Dinosaurs in Their Time. This breathtaking three-story "museum within the museum" is among the nation's biggest, most exciting, and most interactive dinosaur exhibits. You'll experience over a dozen major dinosaur specimens amidst approximately 230 plant and animal species that shared their environment. It's an exhibit 200 million years in the making!
This exhibit will fascinate those interested in paleontology, botany and geology.

Holidays at Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History
Available November and December only.
During the holidays, Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History deck the halls with delightful seasonal displays, activities, and weekend concerts. At the Museum of Art, the Neapolitan presepio has enchanted generations of visitors, while towering holiday trees adorned with handmade ornaments create a festive atmosphere in the Hall of Architecture. Carnegie Museum of Natural History's Discovery Room offers a wintertime experience that touches all the senses. Weekend concerts of seasonal music are performed by local musicians with the presepio as a backdrop. Tours are available for the presepio and for works in the galleries that feature seasonal themes, including The Nativity and The King and the Shepherd, dramatic paintings that depict biblical scenes by the19th-century English artist Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones. Plus, don't forget the museum stores for one-of-a-kind holiday shopping!
