The artist Takashi Murakami uses the style of Anime to create a wonderful
fantasy world. I am partial to this piece because I enjoy the Anime and Manga
artwork. The elements of this piece combine realistic imagery and fantasy. I
like everything to be clean and precise. Murakami uses bright bold color and
sharp defined lines. I am a fan of all the Japanese cartoons, and I like the way
he brought this character to life. She is larger than life with her angelic eyes
and futuristic attire. I can actually picture myself wearing something similar
to that in the near future. I like the way he pays attention to every detail,
from her bow to her toes. The colors he uses are my favorite part--the
cleanness of white and the splash of the rainbow. Another element I liked was
the background; it was very simple yet perfect to accent her beauty. Also, the
female transformer just adds to the piece. This will probably remain my favorite
piece because I'm such a big fan of Anime.
