Gallery Play Dates for Preschoolers
Ages 3–4, each child with one adult caregiver
(Ideal for children not yet comfortable separating from a caregiver)
10:30–11:30 a.m.
Tuesdays (2 sessions each)
June 17 & 24; July 8 & 15; July 22 & 29; August 5 & 12
Art and Architecture Camps
Ages 4–13, Monday through Friday, weeklong
- Ages 4–5 (suitable for children comfortable in a classroom setting without a parent or guardian present)
Half-day sessions: 9:00–11:30 a.m
- Ages 6–7
Half-day sessions: 9:00–11:30 a.m. or 12:30–3:00 p.m.
(or create a full-day schedule by combining morning and afternoon sessions)
- Ages 8–10 and Ages 11–13
Full-day sessions: 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Lunch
Children enrolled in full-day camps must bring a lunch. Drinks and snacks can be purchased from vending machines. Museum staff members supervise children during indoor lunch periods and outdoor recreational activities.
High School Workshops
Workshops run one or two weeks, topics vary 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., lunch break on your own.

Locations
Pre-camp, post-camp, and camps for ages 4–13 take place at Carnegie Museum of Art.
Sign-in and sign-out location: Sculpture Court entrance at the rear of the museum.
High School Workshops take place at Carnegie Mellon
University's design studios, Margaret Morrison Hall. Pick-up and
drop-off location: Margaret Morrison. High School Architecture
101 and Architecture 102 meet at Carnegie Museum of Art
Parking
45-minute free parking for parents during sign-in and sign-out at Carnegie Museum of Art.
Instruction and Supervision
Museum teachers are professional artist educators with the necessary clearances to work with children. Interns and volunteers have the appropriate clearances.
